Marriott Rewards members receive a notification on their iPhones or Android devices after 16h00 on the day before their arrival, alerting them that they can check-in. They will then receive a notification when their room is ready. Guests then go to the mobile check-in desk where their pre-programmed key card will be waiting for them. At the end of their stay, guests receive a notification alerting them that mobile checkout is available. Upon completion, guests will then be prompted to provide an email address where their bill will be sent, allowing them to bypass the front desk. The Marriott Mobile app can be downloaded from the Apple iTunes Store and Google Play.

Car Rental / Traffic Fines

As per the clause stated in the rental agreement  that is signed by the driver of the vehicle upon pickup, all fines; taxes;  tolls; admin fees and third party payments arising from the use of any car rental company’s vehicle, are solely for the renters  account.  Car rental companies have to employ an outsource company to handle all the fines received by them on a daily basis and therefore also charge a fine handling fee. This outsource company has to get a copy of the rental agreement and then complete an affidavits and get it signed with the fine attached and send it back to the traffic department who then has to issue a new fine in the renter’s name and send this to his address. The fine is the renter’s responsibility to pay direct to the traffic department. The fine handling fee has to be paid to the car rental company.
