Location

Located within the malaria-free Marakele National Park, Marataba Safari Lodge is set on the foothills of the Waterberg Mountains and offers guided game drives, bush walks or river excursions. The lodge has a a private airstrip, located about 25 minutes drive away.

Accommodation

The lodge offers 15 stone and canvas luxury tents that are anything but basic. Each has a king-sized bed, en-suite bathroom (including an oval bath you can languish in up to your chin), outdoor shower, craft bar and shaded viewing deck.

General

Game drives, in open safari vehicles, head out each day at sunrise and again in the late afternoon to find Marakeles many fascinating animals. Get within close range of Africas most impressive species, with some surprise stops along the way.
